In 2018, Alutiiq Advanced Security Solutions, LLC (AASS) was awarded the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center Protective Services contract to provide armed security and K9 services to GSFC 24 hours per day, 365/366 days per year at four geographically dispersed locations: the Greenbelt; MD campus; Katherine Johnson Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) facility; Wallops Flight Facility (WFF); and Goddard Institute for Space Sciences (GISS) facility.

Our AASS’ armed Security Police Officers (SPOs) conduct random vehicle and delivery vehicle inspections aided by certified K9 resources, which continually conduct random bag inspections at Entry Control Points (ECPs).
