Commitment to Ethics
Alutiiq, LLC and its subsidiaries (collectively the “Company”) are committed to upholding the highest ethical and legal standards in everything we do. We operate a corporate Ethics and Compliance Program that incorporates our traditional Alutiiq values.
Our core values have always governed the Alutiiq people (who are our Shareholders and their ancestors), and we are grateful to have these values as our Company’s foundation today.
The Afognak Code of Ethics and Business Conduct (the “Code”) applies to all employees of the Company and any joint ventures or other business enterprises that have adopted its provisions. It summarizes the virtues and principles that guide the actions of the Company and its employees. The Company expects its agents, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, representatives, and vendors (“third parties”) to adhere to and be guided by similarly stringent ethical standards.
Afognak has implemented a multi-media approach to proactively distributing the Code in order to ensure Company employees and third parties are well informed of the Code. We update and distribute it annually by email or mail, provide it to Company new hires, post it on the internet internally and externally, and require annual employee training on the Code each Fall.

The Company utilizes Alutiiq University (“AQU”), powered by Schoox, as its online learning management system that is available to all Company employees. AQU features interactive training modules that educate employees on harassment, ethics and compliance, safety, supervising employees, company history, computer applications, and other topics.
The Company is committed to providing a workplace conducive to open discussion of its business practices. It is Company policy for anyone to immediately report suspected violations of law, regulations, or Company policy. We have many resources available and among them is our third-party Hotline. It is available 24/7 to confidentially report suspected violations, and reports may be submitted anonymously. The Company will not tolerate retaliation against anyone who makes a good-faith report or cooperates in the investigation of such a report.
Reports may be made via phone or email to the Hotline at 1-800-829-8547 or afognak.ethicspoint.com.
