Greg Hambright, the President and CEO of Afognak Native Corporation, brings a wealth of experience and an impressive resume, including an outstanding track record of business success. He served as a Senior Vice President of Afognak’s largest wholly-owned subsidiary, Alutiiq, LLC, while working in its Huntsville, AL based corporate office. During his tenure in this capacity, he guided the growth of Alutiiq, LLC’s technical services business line into a high-performing and stable international business model. It is now one of Alutiiq’s most successful business lines. Hambright brings a unique combination of skill and experience to his current role, including a deep understanding of Alutiiq, LLC’s subsidiaries’ business operations, extensive government service experience, proven commercial product hardware development skills, and a successful mergers and acquisitions background.
Before joining Alutiiq, LLC in 2004, Hambright served in senior and executive positions with Teledyne Industries, Intergraph Corporation and ManTech Corporation. He also served as Chief Engineer on two U.S. Space Shuttle Missions and as a Fixed Wing Aviator in the U.S. Navy. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and an MBA with a concentration in computer science. Allen Hines, the Chief Operating Officer for Alutiiq, LLC, brings over 30 years of business development, management, and leadership expertise. In June of 2010, Mr. Hines joined Alutiiq as the Vice President of Strategic Operations for the Technical Services Division. His vast industry knowledge, success building strategic relationships, and seamless integration with the newly formed Bid & Proposal group, placed Alutiiq on solid footing for future growth. These accomplishmentsled to his promotion, in January 2015, to Senior Vice President of Strategic Operations for all of Alutiiq’s family of companies. His corporate-wide strategic planning has translated into a backlog of customer requirements in excess of $1 billion. Before joining Alutiiq, Mr. Hines’ previous employment included President/CEO of Applied Geo Technologies, Inc. (AGT), wholly owned by the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians (MBCI). During his tenure, AGT was the first and most successful MBCI company focused on federal government contracting.
In 2005 Mr. Hines was named by the U.S. Small Business Administration as the Minority Small Business Person of the Year in Mississippi and in SBA’s Region IV which includes the states of Tennessee, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina. Again, in 2006 and 2008 he was named by SBA as the Minority Small Business Person of the Year in Mississippi. He has also held several senior management posts at Booz-Allen & Hamilton, Inc.; LAND INFO International, LLC.; and ISSI Consulting Group, Inc.
