Greg Hambright, the President and CEO of Afognak Native Corporation, brings a wealth of experience and an impressive resume, including an outstanding track record of business success. He served as a Senior Vice President of Afognak’s largest wholly-owned subsidiary, Alutiiq, LLC, while working in its Huntsville, AL based corporate office. During his tenure in this capacity, he guided the growth of Alutiiq, LLC’s technical services business line into a high-performing and stable international business model. It is now one of Alutiiq’s most successful business lines. Hambright brings a unique combination of skill and experience to his current role, including a deep understanding of Alutiiq, LLC’s subsidiaries’ business operations, extensive government service experience, proven commercial product hardware development skills, and a successful mergers and acquisitions background.

Before joining Alutiiq, LLC in 2004, Hambright served in senior and executive positions with Teledyne Industries, Intergraph Corporation and ManTech Corporation. He also served as Chief Engineer on two U.S. Space Shuttle Missions and as a Fixed Wing Aviator in the U.S. Navy. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and an MBA with a concentration in computer science. He also holds U.S. patents in diffractive optics.

Alutiiq, LLC–Chief Operating Officer

Darrell BrewerDarrell Brewer, the Chief Operating Officer of Alutiiq, LLC, brings to his position over 35 years of managerial and leadership expertise. In May of 2009 Mr. Brewer joined Alutiiq as the Senior Director of Capture Management with the responsibility to organize the existing Business Development staff into a state-of-the-art Capture Management Organization with the expressed intent of producing over a billion dollars in Government Proposals annually. His successful restructure of the Capture Management team placed Alutiiq on a solid footing for future growth. His success led to promotion into the role of Vice President of Operations for the Technical Support Services where he managed a P&L of approximately $140M annually with oversight of 1,000 employees through 18 Program Managers across 39 states, 2 US territories and 3 foreign countries. His highly successful tenure led to continued upward movement within the Company, next assuming the role of Senior Vice President of the Emergency Management and Law Enforcement Division, then as Senior Vice President of Operations for approximately two thirds of the P&L of Alutiiq, LLC, and then he was ultimately promoted to his present position as the COO of Alutiiq, LLC.

Before joining Alutiiq, LLC in 2009, Mr. Brewer had a distinguished career in the federal sector. He served as Deputy Garrison Commander for Redstone Arsenal for 10 years and prior to this he served as the Director of Logistics for the Redstone Arsenal Support Activity, Director of Public Works at Letterkenny Army Depot, Director of Engineering and Logistics at Bluegrass Army Depot and the Director of Transportation and Maintenance at the US Naval Base, Guantanamo. Mr. Brewer also holds the title of Honorable Kentucky Colonel and Honorable Alabama Colonel for his exceptional community service to the both states.

Board of Directors

Afognak Native Corporation, Alutiiq, LLC, and their subsidiaries are governed by a nine-member Native Board of Directors who are elected by the Native shareholders to serve staggered three-year terms. The board oversees the President and CEO of Afognak and provides direction on overarching decisions of the organization.
