Richard (“Dick”) Hobbs serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Afognak Native Corporation. In this capacity he provides the leadership for strategic planning, business development and operational management of both Afognak Native Corporation (ANC) and the Alutiiq family of companies. Alutiiq, a wholly owned subsidiary of ANC, has a proven track record of successful contract performance across multiple industries providing services to the federal government in the areas of Security, Construction, Logistics, Operations & Maintenance, and Information Technology. The Alutiiq family of companies employ 4000+ professionals in the above competencies, operating in 48 states and 4 countries.

Prior to joining Alutiiq in 2000, Dick worked at Chugach Alaska Corporation where he was responsible for business development, contract negotiations, transition and operational management/support for Government Service Operations and Maintenance contracts. He joined Chugach in 1996, after serving eight years in the U.S. Navy.
